Also has a Onan 6500 LP Generator monuted on the back. Very nice fiver, fireplsce, and a Deck on the front, has a lot more room for the wifes things. I'm not real informed about King of the Road any info would be appreciated. I know they are no longer in business.

RE: Roadmaster Even Brake Problem

Perhaps you have an intermittent power problem in the 12V supply in your towed vehicle. If the EvenBrake momentarily lost power at the lighter plug, it would want to self-test again. Perhaps your 12V socket is not secure. Are you using the friction collar device on the 12V plug on the EvenBrake cord?
Yes 12v supply is good. Roadmaster had Camping World replace the Even Brake with a new one today!
Don't leave us hanging. Let us know how everything goes on the next trip.
I'm workcamping at this time, may be a while befor my next road trip!

Roadmaster Even Brake Problem

The problem with my Even Brake is 15 min. to 5 hrs after you have run the test on the Even Brake. The dash Monitor will come on and say Even Brake is ready to test. The Brake will be in the test mode inside the CRV. I just returned from a 2,000 mile trip with this problem. In hot (90) weateher every 15 to 20 min. and in 60 to 70 weather 3 to 5 hrs. The dash Monitor will come on and say Even Brake is ready to test. Roadmaster will replace on 7/24/08.

Removed old 24" TV from Class A

Removed old 24" TV and installed a NEW Sharp Aquos 32" LCD TV, outstanding picture. Job of removing and installing was not has bad as I though it may be. Used a 15" full motion pull out mounting bracket works great. Also increased storage area behind TV!

RE: What is the average time spent at a workcamper job location?

With one terrible exception, all of our workamping is volunteer at public facilities (state and fed), and thanks to the rising cost of fuel, we are now staying five or six months at most of our "jobs," up from the original plan of no more than three. And, being full timers, we are taking less of a break between jobs...
Yes we are doing the same, I'm doing 20 hrs a week workcamping and the wife is working up town 40 hrs a week. For at leat 6 months or more. Then not much moving around after the that!

Workcamping Florida Private RV Park $$

What is a good hourly rate $$ for workcamping, with the wages going to the lot rent? Will be working in the office to greet new incoming RVs and take them to their campsites. Work hrs will be flexible!

RE: Safe-T-Plus Steering Control - anyone with this option?

We have a (Monaco Monarch 30 PDD) 2005 Ford F-53 chassis 39,000 mi. I have the Safe T Plus Steering Control and the Super Steer Rear Trac Bar, Super Steer a division of Henderson. The tracking of the coach is outstanding, the two together are excellent. The coach drives and handles the wind with very little problem. I had them installed at 3,000 mi. The best thinks I have installed on the coach. Yes for Safety and Piece of Mind!! With the Super Steer Rear Track Bar installed this will stop the rear axle from moving side to side on the leaf springs! With the short wheel base (190")the problem of the (Tale wagging the dog) the movement on the back of the coach is gone. With the Hendersons Super Steer Rear Trac Bar and the Safe T Plus Steering installed Control and wind problems are gone. Now with 39,000 mi still drives better than new
